Rue returns to Kar

Rue has always been in or around Kar in one aspect or another. After things went south with Mik, Rue had decided it was time to lay low for a while. She packed up her house and sailed into the sunset to see if she could find some much needed rest. After nearly a year spent traveling she found herself on course for Port Kar. It didn't surprise her, she had always known she would be returning here, it was simply a matter of time. As the ship docked at the pier she stood on the deck and stared at her beloved home. Everything was as it had been when she left; from the scent, to the steam wafting up between rotting boards of the docks . She fell in love all over again. Motioning over her shoulder to the captain of the ship she waited until the plank had been dropped before disembarking. The captain and rest of the crew was almost as glad to be back in port as she was.

It wouldn't take long for her to find the office building she had left behind. The windows on the first floor of the two story building were broken but were still boarded up. She cast a glance at the second story window of the apartment above the office and nodded. She would have to get that cleaned up so Maliela could move in without issues. Making note that Mik would eventually have to fix the windows on the bottom floor as well as the one she'd broken herself before leaving kar so long ago.

After checking out the office and apartment she turned and glided along the sidewalk toward her home. She had claimed the house that once belonged to the late Abaddon. Since she had been living there at the time of his departing. Upon coming on the house she frowned deeply. It had fallen into much worse disrepair than the office building. It would take a lot of time and work to get it back to the way she had remembered it. Stepping through the meager gate blocking the almost non-existent yard off from the street she let it hang open and walked up to the house. Standing on the front porch she exclaimed "Honey, I'm Home" in her heavy, purely karian accent.

She had planned on using the house, and the office as her base of operations. She was not the kind of women that could stay in one place for too long and it took her years to figure that out. Her plan was to get her traveling caravan back up and running. She's already enlisted the help of Maliela and Melachan and had a few others in mind for this venture. Everything was coming together and in no time would be in full swing. It was indeed her intention to shake things up around here. The melodramatic lack of anything exciting just wouldn't do.
